Welcome back brunchies!
This week Vanessa and I gathered our friends and took our taste buds to the west side!
First we hit up 585 Rockin burger bar located in Gates off of Pixely road. We tried their new Brunch menu..and OH MY GOD was it awesome. Then we shot over to Whittier fruit farm for some apple picking.
585 Rockin burger bar just started this amazing brunch menu. This is definitely the hot spot to hang out at for brunch on Sunday then stay for the football games and order a beer! We started our experience with a Mimosa Tower. This is a 100oz tower of amazingness that we all shared, it comes with different flavor options as well. We chose the strawberry flavor and it filled up a very large glasses about three times each. The cost of the tower with flavor cost us about 50 dollars. Which I know sounds like a lot, but the split cost with four of us was about the cost of an average brunch cocktail anywhere else!
On the table for this incredible brunch we had a Benedict meal, chicken and waffles, and two deluxe order pancakes one with m&ms and one with peanut butter and bacon bits. All the food was so amazing honestly. None of else had anything critical to say. Also bacon baked into my pancake with peanut butter chips was genius! The value for money at this spot is amazing because the quality and quantity for what you get is worth more then its actual cost. It all tasted so good and due to the fact that the pancake was so large it made for a great late night snack.
After we finished brunch we went down the road a bit to Whittier fruit farm! What a fun day! We took a wagon ride over to the field and had a blast in the fields picking apples for all our baking needs. The selection was great, and we all had a really great time posing for pictures and being our basic selves!
If you are looking for some fall activities to do with your friends this season we highly recommend this combo!
