The Owl House

Welcome back brunchies!!

This week our brunching adventures took place at The Owl House located on Marshall St. off of Monroe Ave. in downtown Rochester.  I (Amanda) joined two of my fabulous friends who have been raving about The Owl House for months. I of course had to give it a try for myself!! There is no formal parking lot for this destination but there was ample street parking throughout the quiet neighborhood. The restaurant is inside of an older style home .When you walk in everything is bright and decorated very tastefully. We were seated outside in the garden, which was absolutely gorgeous.

The menu that they offer here is very unique. It has a little something for everyone. If you are someone who has dietary restrictions then this is definitely the spot for you! They have vegan and gluten free options as well as many choices for people without specific dietary restrictions.

We started out our brunch experience with a round of cold brews, so yum! The other selections that were ordered was an Owl breakfast which included eggs or tofu with bacon, breakfast potato's and toast. My favorite part of this dish was the potato's. They were seasoned great and were very crispy, definitely not your average breakfast potato! Another meal on the table was the b.v.e burger which was topped with sriracha-strawberry jam (which is to die for), crispy onion and an egg on top! The last thing ordered was their scramble special! The eggs (which could be substituted for tofu) were scrambled with cauliflower, cheese and red peppers. I had a bite of this and it was so delicious and filled with flavor.

Everyone at the table was very satisfied with there meals! Between the food, attentive service, and very serine environment The Owl House is a great Sunday brunch-chill spot to catch up with friends/family or have a romantic date for two!

Until next week!
xoxo
