Happy Mother’s Day brunchies!!
I hope everyone had an amazing weekend with their loved ones! My favorite way to bond with family is through the language of food, especially at brunch hour. This weekend we were able to visit one of my personal favorites, Glen Edith. Located right off Park Avenue in downtown Rochester, Glen Edith is the home of fresh brewed, classic home town favorites.
On the menu today was classic avocado toast, and waffles with a lavender cardamom latte. The food was terrific! The waffles were fluffy with a little crisp, and the avocado toast was great with a little kick of spice thrown in there. However the star of the meal was the lavender latte! It was the most amazing latte I've ever had. Its hard to put into words what the flavor was like but its a MUST TRY!
Glen Edith is the perfect spot to visit if you want to take a load off and study for a few hours, or if you want to meet some friends for a conversation and a drink. The atmosphere is industrial and modern with a little twist of old diner vibes, paying homage to the original Glen Edith located on the Irondequoit bay once upon a time.
My experience was awesome! Glenn Edith is a MUST HIT spot in Rochester and I would go again.
